Windows11 25H2が全てのユーザーに
Microsoftは12月4日(現地時間)、同社のドキュメント「Windows 11, version 25H2 known issues and notifications」を更新し、Windows 11 バージョン 25H2（以下25H2）を組織で管理されていない「Windows 11 バージョン 24H2 Home/Pro」デバイスで、機械学習（ML）を用いた「インテリジェントなロールアウト」を段階的に開始したことを発表しました。
これまで25H2が自動配信されるのはWindows Update設定で［利用可能になったらすぐに最新の更新プログラムを入手する］のオプションを有効にしたデバイスに限られていましたが、これからはオフになっているデバイスにも配信されるようになります。
Current status as of December 4, 2025
Windows 11, version 25H2 is now available to all eligible Windows 11 devices for users who have turned on the setting Get the latest updates as soon as they’re available. If you have an eligible Windows 10 or Windows 11 device, you can check if the update is available by selecting Settings > Windows Update and selecting Check for updates. If your device is ready for the update, you’ll see the option to Download and install Windows 11, version 25H2. For more details, watch this video.
The machine learning-based intelligent rollout has begun for devices running Home and Pro editions of Windows 11, version 24H2 that are not managed by IT departments. As part of a gradual rollout, these devices will automatically receive the update to Windows 11, version 25H2 when they’re ready. No action is required, and you can choose when to restart your device or postpone the update.
Windows 11 25H2は、これまでの年次アップデートと比較して軽量で、インストールもより迅速です。これは、全てのシステムファイルを置き換えるのではなく、必要なファイルのみを更新する方式になったためです
また、通常のWindows Updateと同じ技術が使われており、再起動は一度で済むようになっています。
なお、Windows 11 バージョン 25H2のシステム要件は従来から変更なしですが、AI関連の機能を使用するには対応のCPU(SoC)が必要となるので注意してください。
